Thanks for joining Wolof Online!

Once you start a module, you will be prompted for a username and password. Use your first name for the username and "lulu" -- all lower case and without the quotation marks -- as your password.

The text we use for this self-paced online course are the Peace Corps Wolof Grammar Manual and Wolof Dictionary. These documents are very thorough and well organized and should make the learning process relatively easy and fun. Another way you can facilitate the learning process is by finding a partner with whom you can practice your skills.

For oral skills, we currently have a number of Useful Phrases modules available which you can use to practice you Wolof pronunciation. New user should start with these modules.

We also have a number of verbal conjugation modules which you can use to learn all there is to know about conjugating Wolof Verbs. Once you've practiced with the verbal conjugation modules, test your skills with our verbal conjugation quiz.

We are currently working on more useful phrases modules; we'll let you know once we post them here. We are always open to suggestions from our members so if you have any ideas with regard to the content of future modules please don't hesitate to let us know.
